About Me
Hello, I'm Chloe.
I'm a mother and entrepreneur offering after-school childcare for families in and around Islington. I know first-hand how much trust goes into choosing someone to look after your child. For me, good childcare is about creating a safe, warm environment where children feel comfortable, listened to and free to be themselves.
My approach is centred around proximity and play - being genuinely present with children and taking an interest in their world. I love the idea that an ordinary afternoon can become an opportunity to read, make something, explore, play, talk, learn or simply unwind after a busy school day.
Depending on the child, our time together might include homework and reading, a trip to the park, arts and crafts, cooking or baking, board games, creative projects or simply following whatever they're curious about that day.
As an entrepreneur, I also understand that families don't always fit neatly into traditional childcare schedules. I'm looking to work with a small number of local families where I can provide reliable, personal and flexible after-school care while continuing to run my own business. I'm a responsible, organised and calm person, and I'm very comfortable communicating with parents and following the routines and boundaries that work for each family.
I have an Enhanced DBS check and can provide both professional and personal references. I'm very happy for prospective families to ask questions, meet beforehand and discuss their child's routine, personality, interests and needs.
I'm specifically looking for families in Islington only and my son (5 yrs old and very kind & social) will be present also.

My Experience
I’ve been caring for children for many years, beginning with part-time babysitting alongside my studies and early career from 2011 to 2017. During this time, I regularly supported families with after-school care, evenings, meals, homework, play and bedtime routines, while building trusting relationships with both children and parents.
I’m also a mum, so I understand first-hand how important it is to find someone who is not only responsible and trustworthy, but who genuinely connects with your child and understands the realities of family life.
Alongside my childcare experience, I have spent more than 12 years working in creative marketing and building my own business. My work has involved working with children, families, communities and major brands, as well as creating educational, creative and wellbeing-focused content and experiences. It has taught me to be highly organised, communicative, adaptable and confident around different personalities.
My approach to childcare is centred around proximity and play. I prioritise being present, getting to know each child as an individual and creating space for them to feel comfortable, curious and confident. I enjoy creative activities, reading, arts and crafts, games, cooking and baking, outdoor play and simply following a child’s interests.
I’m available to work with a small number of families in Islington only, providing dependable, personal after-school care that gives parents peace of mind while giving children a warm, engaging and enjoyable afternoon.

12+ years’ professional experience in marketing, communications, creative work and running my own business, demonstrating strong organisation, responsibility, communication and people skills.
Parent with hands-on childcare experience, alongside several years of previous part-time babysitting experience with families.
I am happy to provide original documentation and references to prospective families and discuss any questions around my experience, approach and suitability for their children.
My Availability
After-school pickup Monday to Friday and school holiday childcare (am to pm)
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
After-school childcare: £18 per hour
Evening babysitting: £20 per hour
My rates reflect a personal, reliable and creative childcare service, with an emphasis on building a genuine relationship with each child and family.
I am happy to discuss regular arrangements and longer-term bookings with families in Islington.
