My Summary

My Experience

I have over 5 years of hands-on childcare experience, caring for children from newborns and babies through to 12 years old. During this time, I have gained experience supporting children at different stages of development and understand that each age group requires a different level of care, attention and supervision.

My experience includes caring for babies and toddlers, supervising young children, supporting daily routines, assisting with feeding and mealtimes, changing nappies, settling children for naps and bedtime, and providing constant supervision to ensure their safety.

With older children, I have experience supporting their independence, encouraging positive behaviour, helping with homework and learning, and keeping them engaged through age-appropriate activities. I have also planned and encouraged creative and educational activities, including arts and crafts, reading, games and play.

I have cared for children with different personalities, temperaments and individual needs, which has taught me to be patient, observant and adaptable. I understand the importance of listening to children, communicating clearly with them and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable and supported.

Over the years, my childcare experience has strengthened my confidence in handling different situations, maintaining routines, supervising multiple needs and responding calmly and responsibly. I have developed a genuine understanding of the responsibility involved in caring for children and the trust parents place in their childcare provider.

My experience with children aged 0–12 has allowed me to build a broad range of practical childcare skills and has reinforced my interest in developing a long-term career working with children.

My Qualifications

BTEC Health & Social Care – Pass 2
Completed a BTEC qualification in Health & Social Care, developing knowledge and understanding of supporting individuals, communication, safeguarding and wellbeing.

GCSE English – Grade 4
Completed GCSE English, supporting my communication skills when working with children and families.

Childcare Experience – 5+ Years
Over 5 years of practical childcare experience with children aged 0–12 years, including supporting children’s routines, development, learning and wellbeing.

Early Years / Childcare Career Development
Currently pursuing further development within childcare and early years, with a strong interest in building a long-term career working with children.

My Availability

I have flexible availability and am open to both regular and occasional babysitting. I am available during the daytime, evenings and weekends, depending on the date and time required.

I’m happy to discuss different childcare arrangements in advance and can accommodate one-off bookings as well as regular weekly childcare where my availability allows. I understand that families can have different schedules, so I’m willing to be flexible and work around your childcare needs where possible.

For evening and weekend bookings, I’m also happy to discuss later finishes when arranged in advance. My availability can be discussed when making a booking to ensure the times work well for both the family and myself.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
• Household Help from £18.00 per hour
