About Me
Hello! I’m a second year student at Falmouth University studying Film and Television production. However, over the summer I’ve worked at a nursery and preschool and found a genuine passion for caring for children and helping them learn through play. I’d be honoured to babysit your little ones so you can have a well deserved break?
My Experience
- I’ve worked at a nursery and preschool over the summer, working with children aged 10 months-4 years old. This has included, playing with them, feeding them, maintaining high levels of health and safety all while prioritising their wants and needs.
This included SEND children and children with diverse learning needs.
- I’ve also babysat for the past four years, working with children from the ages 9 months-10 years old.
My Qualifications
I’m DBS checked and have completed some safeguarding training while working at the nursery during the summer. Although I don’t have any other qualifications, I’ve had four years of babysitting experience. I appreciate that may not be enough for some families and additional qualifications would be preferred.
My Availability
I’m at University typically from 9-5 Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesday) but I’m more than happy to work evenings. This would ideally be past 6pm due to travelling but because my timetable changes frequently I’m happy to discuss different times based on my weekly availability.
Additionally, unless you’re in Falmouth, I will have to take either the bus or train to get to you as I don’t drive so please consider I will have to leave in order to get the last train home. Other than that I’m happy to work whenever!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I’m happy to discuss different pay rates, this is just what I’ve agreed with previous families.
