About Me
I’m a caring, warm and bubbly 25 year old who genuinely loves being around children. I feel as though children have a special openness and connection to the world and I really enjoy their curiosity, imagination and unique personalities! I love getting involved in play and activities but also enjoy simply talking with children and encouraging them to be confident, curious and themselves.
Outside of childcare, I’m very interested in sport, personal growth and travelling. I love meaningful conversations and hearing different perspectives. I’m responsible, patient and attentive and I take the trust that comes with looking after someone’s child very seriously. I have a DBS check and First Aid training through my current job and a car. I would always aim to make children feel cared for, happy and excited about life.
My Experience
I have hands-on childcare experience from regularly helping to care for my 4 year old niece and 1 year old nephew as they have grown up, as well as babysitting younger cousins of different ages. I have experience with babies and young children, including bottle feeding, changing nappies, bathing, getting children ready for bed and helping with bedtime routines. I also enjoy keeping children entertained through play, creativity and believe consistent interaction with them is super important for their growth.
I also have some experience supporting a cousin with autism and understand that children can have individual communication, sensory and routine needs. This has taught me the importance of patience, reassurance and adapting my approach to suit each individual child.
My Qualifications
I have a current DBS check and First Aid training through my employment. I also have practical childcare experience caring for babies and children as described above.
My Availability
I currently have very flexible availability and am happy to discuss regular or occasional babysitting depending on your needs. I am available for daytime, evening and weekend childcare. My availability may become slightly more limited in the future as I develop another small business that may occupy some mornings but I will always keep my availability up to date and discuss arrangements with families in advance. I am particularly happy to provide weekend and evening babysitting, and I am also flexible for daytime childcare where required.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
My standard babysitting rate is £14 per hour but I am happy to discuss individual requirements, i.e caring for more than one child. Any additional requirements or expenses can be discussed and agreed in advance.
