About Me

Hi! I’m Diana, Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification, Enhanced DBS and childcare support-work experience.

I’m bubbly, friendly and caring person with a genuine love for working with children and young people.

I’ve always naturally gravitated towards children and really enjoy being around their energy, personalities and imagination. I would describe myself as warm, patient and free spirited, and I find it easy to build positive relationships with children while making sure they feel safe, comfortable and able to be themselves.

I hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and have built up experience working with children and young people in a variety of settings. My early experience included work placements within nurseries, where I supported young children with play, activities and their day-to-day routines.

I later moved into support work, including working directly with children and young people in care and supported settings. This has given me valuable experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours, emotional and behavioural needs, mental health difficulties and those who may have experienced trauma or difficult circumstances.

Through this work, I have developed strong skills in safeguarding, de-escalation, communication, risk awareness and providing calm, person-centred support. I understand that every child is different and believe in adapting the way I communicate and provide care depending on their age, personality and individual needs.

Alongside my practical experience and Level 3 qualification, I have completed a range of online training courses relating to health, social care and safeguarding, which have helped me further develop my knowledge and confidence when caring for children and young people.

Although I have professional experience supporting children with more complex needs, I’m equally happy providing everyday childcare whether that’s playing and keeping little ones entertained, helping with meals and routines, school pick-ups, spending time with older children, or evening babysitting while parents enjoy some well-deserved time out.

Most importantly, I want parents to feel comfortable knowing that their children are with someone who is responsible, attentive and genuinely enjoys being around them.

I have an Enhanced DBS certificate which can be checked online, and I am also happy to provide references upon request.

I’m currently looking for nanny opportunities and assisting with household help. I’m a dedicated person who is willing to travel too and currently available all days in the week and have no dependents.
