About Me
I’m a Clinical Psychologist with a warm, friendly and caring person. I really enjoy spending time with children and young people and am calm, patient and reliable. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, being outdoors, keeping active and spending time with friends and family. I’m looking for some flexible childcare work alongside my clinical psychology career.
My Experience
I have several years’ experience working with children and young people through my clinical psychology training, including a placement in CAMHS. I have worked with children experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD and trauma, as well as children with autism and ADHD. I have experience with autism and ADHD screening, ADHD assessments, school observations and working closely with parents, schools and other professionals. I’m also experienced in adapting my communication and approach to suit individual children and their needs.
My Qualifications
* Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) – Royal Holloway, University of London
* BSc Psychology with International Study – First Class Honours, University of Manchester
* Postgraduate Certificate in Low-Intensity CBT – UCL
* BABCP-accredited CBT training
* Enhanced DBS checked
