About Me

Hi, I’m Gabriella! I am a local childminder in Farnham with a deep passion for creativity, nature, and great food. Originally from South Africa, I spent years working as a private chef before transitioning my skills into childcare. Today, I dedicate my heart and time to helping little ones learn, play, and grow.
My mission is to provide a safe, encouraging space where children feel entirely free to challenge themselves, create art from natural materials, and develop their own unique personalities. With my culinary background, I love getting the kids involved in growing vegetables from scratch. Together, we find fun, delicious ways to pack those healthy, homegrown ingredients into our meals, teaching them to respect the cycle of nature and care for the earth, so it can take care of us.
I also believe in teaching children that it is completely okay to make mistakes—after all, that is how we learn who we are. In my setting, I encourage children to face every challenge with resilience, to try their absolute best, and to never give up. Children possess an incredible superpower: they are deeply curious and bravely dive into the unknown, unbothered by fear or self-doubt. I believe we should all look at children and learn from this, letting our own inner child run right alongside them.
