Hi! My name is Mia, I’m a friendly, caring and patient person who absolutely loves working with children.
I studied Level 3 Health and Social Care at college and have been working in an alternative provision for the past year and a half, which I really enjoy. I love getting to know the children I work with, finding out what they enjoy and coming up with fun activities that they’ll love to get involved in!
In the future, I’d love to work in the children’s mental health sector, as supporting children and helping them feel happy and confident is something I’m really passionate about.
Outside of work, I love travelling, exploring new places and spending time with animals. I’m a huge animal lover and regularly pet sit for friends and family, so I’m more than happy to have furry friends around too! ?
My Experience
I have gained lots of experience working with children and young people. For the past year and a half, I’ve worked in an alternative provision, supporting children and young people with a range of different needs.
I’m also currently completing a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship ???, which has given me even more hands-on experience in supporting learning, planning activities and building positive relationships with young people. ??
I really enjoy working with children and making sure they feel comfortable, supported and listened to. Through my work, I’ve developed lots of patience and confidence when working with different personalities, ages and needs.

My Availability
I currently finish work at 2:30pm, so I’m available for childcare Monday–Friday from around 3pm until 8pm. I’m happy to help with after-school care, school pick-ups and activities throughout the afternoon and evening. As I don’t drive yet, I’m mainly looking for families in Sale and nearby areas that are easy for me to reach by public transport.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
Nannying & Childcare – £17 per hour
I’m available for after-school childcare on weekdays between 3pm and 8pm, offering a range of activities to keep children entertained, engaged and happy.
I can help with:
* School pickups
* Outdoor activities such as going to the park
* Indoor activities such as painting, crafts and games
* Cooking simple meals and preparing snacks
* Helping with homework
* Playing and doing age-appropriate activities together
* Pet sitting can also be added for an extra £10 per hour
My usual rate is £17 per hour.
I currently work in Sale and finish work at 2:30pm, so I’m ideally looking for families in Sale and nearby areas with easy access to the Metrolink. Unfortunately, I don’t drive yet, so I need to be able to travel by public transport.
