I am an experienced former SEND TA, Pre-School assistant and qualified Forest School leader with a passion for meeting the needs of all young children and helping them to achieve and thrive. I love being outside, supporting learning through play and using games and fun activities to help children engage and learn.
My Experience
For the last 7 years I have worked as a SEND TA in a primary school, working one to one with many children with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH and physical needs as well as taking small groups for intervention work and supporting children in the classroom. I also managed one to one, small SEMH groups and whole class Forest School sessions. Before being a TA, I worked in a Pre-School and had many years of babysitting experience when I was younger.
My Qualifications
March 2018: Certificate in Forest School Leadership, Level 3. Open College Network West Midlands
Current Enhanced DBS certificate
May 2026: Level 3 ITC Award in Forest School First Aid (covers all aspects of paedriatric first aid)
September 2025: Prevent refresher awareness course; Keeping Children Safe in Education; Cyber Security; Safeguarding Training (continuous updates through the year)
October 2024 Epilepsy training
April 2023 EBSA online training with refresher video August 2026
