My Experience

I have a range of childcare and education experience with children of different ages. Most recently, I spent the entire summer working as a nanny at a summer camp in Canada, where I had significant responsibility caring for 5 children aged 2 1/2 to 7 years old. I regularly provided sole care for extended periods, managing meals, naps, changing, activities, outings, swimming, bedtime routines and general wellbeing. The role involved long days, adapting to changing routines and confidently handling situations independently. Outside of this, I have also worked in a Year 2 classroom, volunteered as a reading buddy and Girlguiding leader, and tutored GCSE students, giving me experience with children across a wide range of ages.

My Qualifications

- Safeguarding Children Level One

My Availability

I'm currently a university student in York and have every Wednesday off this term, so I'm available throughout the day on Wednesdays. I'm also available for evening babysitting during the week and weekends, with additional availability depending on my university commitments. I'm happy to discuss regular or occasional babysitting to suit your family.
