About Me
Hi, I’m Lindsay! I’ve always loved being around children and taking care of them. I’m the oldest of 7 siblings, so looking after younger children has always been a big part of my life.
I also have experience with children through volunteering, and I worked in a nursery in France for a few months. I really enjoyed the experience and it made me realise how much I enjoy working with children.
I don’t have a formal childcare qualification yet, but I do have a DBS check and I’m planning to become a teacher in the future. I’m a patient, caring and responsible person, and I always try to make children feel comfortable, listened to and happy.
I’d be happy to help with babysitting, playing with the children, preparing simple meals, helping with homework or just keeping them company while you’re away.
My Experience
I have experience caring for children through both my family life and previous work. As the oldest of 7 children, I’ve been around younger children from a young age and have often helped with looking after them.
I also volunteered with children and worked in a nursery in France for a few months, where I helped with the children’s everyday activities and routines. I enjoyed spending time with them, playing with them and helping them feel comfortable and cared for.
My Qualifications
I have a valid DBS check and a Food Safety certification. I also have a degree in Digital Marketing. Although I don’t currently have a formal childcare qualification, I have practical experience caring for children through volunteering, working in a nursery in France, and helping to look after my younger siblings as the oldest of seven.
I’m also planning to become a teacher, so working with children is something I’m genuinely interested in and want to develop further.
