My Experience

I’ve adored working with children from a young age. At 14, I started babysitting for younger cousins, neighbours and friend’s children. I quickly became the most requested sitter locally for my fun, thoughtful approach. I also volunteered as a mentor at my local theatre, supporting children including those with additional needs and hearing impairments- taking the time to learn basic sign language to communicate fully. At 16, I qualified as a swimming teacher, teaching children aged 4–10 and running one-to-one sessions for those needing extra support. Over three years, I earned consistent praise from parents for my enthusiasm, creativity and clear communication.

My Qualifications

As a children’s swimming teacher, I hold my NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) and STA swimming teaching qualifications, which include certified paediatric first aid training. My time as both a lifeguard and swimming teacher has given me hands-on, regular experience in safeguarding practices and administering first aid to children when needed.

My Availability

Mondays- after 5pm
Tuesdays- after 10am
Wednesdays- all day
Thursdays- after 3pm
all day Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
