My Summary

My Experience

I’m the eldest of five, so I’ve grown up in a relatively large family and have spent much of my life helping to look after my younger siblings. I’ve also regularly looked after family friends’ children, including a four-year-old girl who I read with, practise phonics with, take to the park and on walks, and spend time talking and playing with.

I also have four months’ experience working in a nursery and reception, where I spent Thursdays and Fridays engaging with children through reading, drawing, colouring, crafts, games and conversation. I focused on understanding each child’s interests and letting them choose how they wanted to play.

Additionally, I accompanied Year 6 pupils to after-school basketball activities every Thursday for four months, travelling with them and supporting them throughout the activity.

My Qualifications

I have completed my GCSEs, including Grade 9 in English Literature, Grade 8 in English Language and Grade 7 in Mathematics. I also completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and History, achieving grades D, D and B. My academic background allows me to support children with their learning and homework up to GCSE level.

My Availability

I am mainly available for childcare on weekends and am also available on weekday evenings. I’m flexible with timings and happy to discuss what works best for your family. I can be available during the day at weekends and in the evenings during the week, depending on the hours required.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

Minimum £13 an hour but flexible if given many hours
