I am reliable, patient & responsible, with a professional approach to safeguarding, wellbeing & development. I pride myself on building positive relationships with children & families, providing consistent, attentive & high-quality care.
My Experience
I have extensive experience working with children across a range of childcare settings, including private nannying, nursery environments & specialist education. Throughout my career, I have supported children with different ages, personalities, abilities & individual needs.
My experience includes providing attentive day-to-day care, supporting routines, encouraging children’s development & learning, preparing activities, maintaining a safe environment & building positive relationships with both children & families.
I currently work within a specialist college supporting students with complex & additional needs, which has further developed my patience, communication skills, understanding & ability to adapt my approach to each individual child.
I take pride in being reliable, responsible, caring & professional, while ensuring every child feels safe, respected, valued & supported in my care.
My Qualifications
I hold an NVQ in Working with Children & Young People’s Workforce, providing me with a strong foundation in children’s development, safeguarding, care & wellbeing.
I also hold First Aid training, alongside Manual Handling training. These qualifications support my ability to provide safe, responsible & professional care while responding appropriately to children’s individual needs.
My Availability
I am currently available Monday to Thursday during school and college hours, with some flexibility depending on the role and childcare requirements.
I currently work as a Lunchtime Support Assistant within a specialist college, supporting neurodivergent students, including students with Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). My role involves providing individualised support during lunchtime, assisting with feeding where required, promoting independence, maintaining dignity and ensuring students are safe, comfortable & supported throughout the session.
I work closely with students who have a range of communication, sensory, physical and learning needs. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, reassurance & adapting my approach to each individual child or young person.
