My Experience

I bring over 11 years of hands-on experience as a mum of three, alongside around six years working professionally as a mother’s help/nanny in Chelsea.

I genuinely enjoy being around children and getting to know their individual personalities. I’m warm, patient, calm and dependable, and I believe children thrive when they feel listened to, understood and genuinely cared for.

My Psychology degree has given me a deeper understanding of children’s development, behaviour and emotions, while my current work in a specialist school has further strengthened my communication skills, patience, empathy and ability to respond calmly to different situations.

Families can expect someone caring, honest and reliable who will care for their children with genuine warmth and attention, while also helping make everyday family life a little easier. I’m happy to get involved in play, activities, homework, healthy meals and routines — and I take pride in being someone parents can trust and rely on.

I have excellent references from the family I worked for and from my employers, which I’m very happy to provide.

My Qualifications

I’m an experienced and caring childcare professional with around six years’ experience as a mother’s help and nanny, as well as being a mum to three children of my own, now with over 11 years of hands-on parenting experience.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology (2:1), giving me a good understanding of children’s development, behaviour and emotions. I’m naturally patient, warm and empathetic, and I really enjoy getting to know children and building trusting relationships with them.

I currently work in a specialist school, supporting children with complex needs, and I’m starting my Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy, further developing my understanding of emotional wellbeing and mental health.

I’m Enhanced DBS checked, have completed additional training relating to children’s learning and behaviour, and have excellent references available from previous families and employers.

I’m also happy to help with preparing healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks for the children and family, as well as keeping on top of the everyday routines that help family life run smoothly.

For me, childcare is about much more than simply keeping children safe. It is important that feel happy, comfortable, listened to and nurtured, while giving parents the reassurance that their children are in safe, caring and capable hands.

My Availability

Monday–Wednesday: 9:00am–2:30pm
Currently available 2 days per week, with the possibility of increasing to 3 days.

I can be flexible with hours where possible, depending on the family’s needs and location.

Weekend babysitting is also available by arrangement.

My Fees

• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
