My Summary

My Experience

I have around three years of babysitting experience, looking after multiple children between the ages of 5 and 10 in family homes. During this time, I’ve worked with children from different nationalities, backgrounds and personalities, which has taught me how important it is to adapt to each individual child. I’ve helped with homework, prepared food, organised activities, played games and kept children entertained while maintaining their normal routines. One of my favourite parts of childcare is teaching children new things and seeing them become excited and confident when they understand something. I’m comfortable caring for more than one child at a time.

My Qualifications

I am currently a university student and have completed professional First Aid and Emergency First Response (EFR) training, including CPR and responding to medical emergencies. My training has taught me to stay calm, responsible and organised when looking after others, and safety is always a priority for me. Alongside this, university has given me strong communication, organisation and academic skills, which are especially useful when helping children with homework and learning. I’m reliable, patient and confident taking responsibility for children while still being warm, approachable and fun. I’m always happy to follow each family’s routines, rules and individual preferences.
