My Summary

My Experience

I have a wide range of experience working with children across education, childcare, music, summer camps and therapeutic recreation.

For the past five years, I have worked in a homework club at my local primary school in Clare, supporting children with their schoolwork and creating a fun and welcoming environment. I have also been a piano teacher for four years, which I particularly enjoy as it allows me to help children build confidence and develop new skills.

I have worked at summer camps in Ireland and internationally in America and Germany, with roles including lifeguarding, entertainment and climbing instruction. I also spent two years working in a children’s club within a hotel.

Inclusion is particularly important to me. For the past two years, I have worked and volunteered with Barretstown, supporting children and families affected by serious illness through therapeutic recreation activities. This has given me valuable experience creating inclusive, positive and enjoyable experiences for children with a range of individual needs.

I am now studying a Master's in Developmental Psychology in Belfast, continuing to develop my understanding of children’s development and wellbeing and working towards a career in child psychology.

Children's First Training (TUSLA)
Bachelor's of Science in Psychology
I do hold Garda Vetting in ROI (available on request) and am currently waiting for my DBS here
