My Summary

My Experience

I am a Level 4 qualified Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children across primary education and alternative provision, including work within a Pupil Referral Unit.

I have Thrive training and experience supporting children with additional needs, behaviour challenges, emotional regulation and low confidence. This has taught me the importance of building trust first and adapting support to the individual child rather than expecting every child to learn in the same way.

I also have an Enhanced DBS certificate and have completed safeguarding training.

Alongside education, I am a published children’s author, which has given me an additional interest in literacy, reading and helping children develop confidence with written and spoken language.

My Qualifications

Level 4 qualified Teaching Assistant with Thrive training, safeguarding training and an Enhanced DBS certificate. I have also undertaken professional training and development around supporting children’s learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and regulation.

My Availability

I currently offer 45-minute one-to-one sessions from my home in St John’s, Worcester.

Regular appointments are mainly available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5pm, with some Saturday morning availability.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £33.33 per hour

One-to-one sessions are £25 for 45 minutes and take place in person in my dedicated tutoring space in St John’s, Worcester.

An initial assessment is also £25 and helps me understand your child’s confidence, strengths and areas where they may need support, so future sessions can be tailored to them.

Sessions can be booked and paid for online, with no long-term contract required.
