My Experience
Yes, I have looked after babies under 1 year old within my family before coming to the UK. I helped care for both my younger cousins (a boy and a girl) from when they were around 2 months old until they were about 4.5 years old.
I was involved in their daily care, including feeding, changing nappies, bathing, helping them settle to sleep, preparing them for bed, playing with them, and providing general care and supervision. Although this was family experience rather than a professional role, it gave me a lot of hands-on experience caring for young children and understanding their needs.
My Qualifications
I have completed First Aid training and understand the importance of safety and responding calmly in an emergency. I am also currently studying for my Master's degree at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
