About Me

Hello, I'm Asifa!
I'm a qualified primary school teacher and dedicated private tutor, here to help your child thrive, succeed and grow in confidence.

Here is a list of what I tutor:
Maths: Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
English: Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
English Language and Literature: Key Stage 3
Reading and spelling: building strong foundations and a love of reading
11+ exam preparation: structured support to help your child feel prepared and confident on the day

Every child learns differently, so I tailor each session to your child's needs, whether they need extra support to catch up, want to stretch themselves further, or are working towards a specific goal like the 11+. I aim to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and keep parents updated on progress.

My Experience

I'm a qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years of tutoring experience, helping children build confidence and reach their full potential.
I hold a degree in Economics and a Primary PGCE specialising in Mathematics, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). My classroom background means I know the National Curriculum well and understand exactly what children are expected to learn at each stage.

My Availability

I'm available for sessions at weekends and on some weekday afternoons/evenings, including Mondays and Tuesdays.
