My Summary

My Experience

I have experience caring for children through both family and community settings. I have regularly looked after my niece since she was a baby and have also babysat children in my local neighbourhood, mainly under the age of 10. This has involved supervising children, keeping them safe and entertained, preparing food, helping with routines and ensuring they are comfortable and well cared for.

I have also volunteered with a children's group through my church and volunteered at a nursery in Uganda, where I supported young children in a nursery environment. In addition, I have experience tutoring Maths and English, helping children with their learning and adapting my approach to suit their individual abilities and needs.

These experiences have helped me develop patience, responsibility, communication and organisation skills. I am comfortable working with children of different ages and personalities and understand the importance of following parents' instructions and routines. I always aim to create a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for the children I care for.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying for a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) at the University of Nottingham. My degree has developed my communication, organisation, responsibility and attention-to-detail skills.

I achieved A, A, B at A Level in Psychology, Biology and Chemistry, and achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 7 or above, including four Grade 9s.

My academic background, alongside my experience tutoring Maths and English and working with children through babysitting, volunteering at a children's group and volunteering at a nursery in Uganda, has given me a strong foundation for supporting and caring for children.

My Availability

I am available before school and after school everyday, and I can spend the whole day with them on Wednesday and Thursdays.
