Hi, I’m Katelyn! ?
I’m a caring, friendly and reliable childcare professional with nearly 3 years of experience working in a nursery, alongside previous experience in hospitality and catering.
I’m currently working as a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner and have experience caring for children of different ages, supporting their development, planning activities and creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment. I have also had the opportunity to be a key person for children, building strong relationships with both children and their families.
I’m First Aid and Safeguarding trained and take the safety and wellbeing of every child in my care very seriously. I’m passionate about helping children learn and develop through fun, age-appropriate activities while also making sure they feel comfortable, listened to and valued.
I would describe myself as patient, approachable and enthusiastic. I love getting creative with children, whether that’s arts and crafts, baking, messy play, reading stories or getting outside and exploring.
I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable with the person caring for their child. I always aim to build a trusting relationship with both children and parents and provide care that is tailored to each child’s individual needs and personality.

My Experience
I have nearly 3 years of professional childcare experience working in a nursery, where I have cared for children across different age groups and supported them with their learning, development and day-to-day routines.
In my role as a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner, I have experience with nappy changing, feeding, settling children, sleep routines, personal care, planning and carrying out activities, messy play, outdoor play and supporting children as they develop their independence and confidence.
I have also worked as a key person, building strong and trusting relationships with children and their families. I regularly communicate with parents about their child’s day, development, progress and individual needs.
I am First Aid and Safeguarding trained and understand the importance of providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. I am confident supporting children with different personalities, routines and needs, and I always aim to make children feel happy, secure and listened to.
My experience has taught me how important patience, consistency and a caring approach are when working with children, and I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, explore and have fun. ?
My Qualifications
I am a Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner with nearly 3 years of professional childcare experience.
I am trained in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Children, giving me the knowledge and confidence to help keep children safe and respond appropriately in an emergency.
I have also gained extensive practical experience through my nursery role, developing my knowledge of children’s learning and development, personal care, safeguarding, health and safety, and supporting children’s individual needs.
I am currently continuing to develop my childcare knowledge and skills through further training and practical experience, with a strong interest in progressing my career within childcare and supporting children to reach their full potential.
My Availability
I’m available Monday to Friday throughout the day, giving me plenty of flexibility to fit around your childcare needs. I’m also occasionally available on Saturdays with prior notice, depending on my availability.
My Fees
- Nannying from £25.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
