About Me
I am a caring, patient and responsible childcare professional with a background in Social Work and experience as a School Counsellor, supporting children and adolescents with their emotional wellbeing, behaviour and development. I am currently studying an MA in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, which further develops my understanding of children's emotional and developmental needs.
Coming from a close-knit joint family, I have always been involved in caring for younger siblings and cousins, including my youngest sister who is 18 years younger than me. These experiences have helped me develop patience, responsibility and a natural understanding of children's needs. I enjoy creating a safe, positive and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, valued and heard.
My Experience
I have experience working with children and adolescents as a School Counsellor, supporting their emotional wellbeing, behaviour, communication and development. I also gained childcare experience through social work internships and NGO work. Growing up in a joint family, I cared for younger siblings and cousins, including my sister who is 18 years younger. I am currently studying MA Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
My Qualifications
BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) and MSW (Master of Social Work – Medical & Psychiatry). Currently studying MA Child and Adolescent Mental Health. I also have training in Child and Adolescent Counselling.
My Availability
I am currently available for up to 20 hours per week alongside my studies. I am flexible with daytime, evening and weekend childcare, depending on my class schedule and the family's needs.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My fees start from £13 per hour. I am happy to discuss regular childcare arrangements and agree a suitable rate based on the family's needs.
