About Me

I'm a qualified British Dentist who has been working for the last 14 years in my profession who has just embarked on a career break. I am currently training to become a somatic embodiment and empowerment coach for women. I have a lot of experience working with children; I worked for a Community Dental Service which works primarily with children with high or additional needs, or adults with additional needs. I also come from a large family and looking after and playing with children especially younger has been a big part of my life (even now with many nieces and nephews). I often get feedback from my patients for my warm, kind, reassuring nature and work well with anxious patients. As part of my trauma-informed training, I am passionate about meeting a child/individual where they're at without judgment and have personal interests in psychology and conscious parenting. I'm reliable, can be relied on to organise activities and games, help with homework, have a car for transport, and good in emergencies from my experience working in hospitals and healthcare. Other interests are in qi-gong, yoga, dance, nature/outdoors, meditation, cooking, baking.
