About Me
Hello everyone! I am a recent graduate having graduated with a Bsc in Business studies and starting an LLM in Law and Gender studies at SOAS university in September 2027.
I am 21 years old and have always been passionate about assisting where I can, which has looked very different in the past.
I have previously volunteered at youth centres, providing literacy skill workshops and after school/ weekend reading sessions at my local library. I took a really big interest in arts and crafts workshops for the local youth at my local library; in which I volunteered by helping set up the events and participate in the arts and crafts workshop.
I am also part of a passion project called SOL ( Stories of love) consisting of a small group of diverse black individuals from different parts of the world. The main aim of this foundation is to provide common spaces for young people of all socio-economic backgrounds in East London in order to widen their perspectives and access to different cultural arts, work experience opportunities and also provide them a space in which they can display their art and passion projects. All of these roles have a very special place in my heart and I have loved working in all of them wholeheartedly.
I truly love being surrounded by and working with kids, especially as I strongly believe children are the best tutors we, as adults, can learn from! I wish to always be surrounded by children for their wild and inspiring imaginations and personalities! I aim in the future to adopt and foster children in the hopes of providing them a loving and caring home.
As a plus, I speak Greek and know how to cook many delicious Greek snacks and staple meals!
In my spare time outside of child caring, I devote myself to my passion projects and I also work as a freelancer across digital and social media marketing. I thoroughly enjoy going on long walks or hikes if the weather allows it, as well as reading the many books that take up too much space in my home!
My Experience
I have had tons of past experience of all together 7 years preparing children I nannied, my three younger siblings and many baby cousins ready for school, taking them to school, and picking them up from school. I also know how to cater for children, cook for children, perform general household chores and keep the children entertained through art or literary practices and activities!
My Qualifications
I hold GCSE and A-level
qualifications in English, Maths, Science, Enterprise and Sociology. As well as a BSc degree in Business studies, therefore I could also tutor kids to a high standard.
My Availability
I am available flexibly from the 12th of October, and interested in helping a family on a regular basis. Ideally, I would like to meet a family who I can work with long-term for a better focus on the children(s) development! :) | am based in Mile End, but happy to travel, as finding a family that is a good match with my qualifications is the most important aspect for me!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
