My Summary

My Experience

I have extensive experience working with children, both in family homes and educational settings.

I worked as a live-in au pair in the UK for over a year, caring for two young children aged approximately 3–7. My responsibilities included preparing meals, helping with morning and bedtime routines, school drop-offs and pick-ups, organising activities, supervising playtime and supporting their emotional and educational development.

I also have experience babysitting babies, including caring for a child from approximately 8 to 15 months old. This involved feeding, changing nappies, managing naps, playing and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Additionally, I have around 10 years of teaching experience, working with children from the age of 6 through to teenagers. I have also worked with very young learners, using songs, storytelling, dancing, games and creative activities to encourage learning and development.

These experiences have helped me become adaptable, patient and confident in caring for children with different personalities, needs and routines.

My Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching from Brazil, officially recognised as comparable to a UK Bachelor’s degree (RQF Level 6) and I hold an enhanced DBS check.

I am currently studying for a PGCE in Secondary Modern Languages (Spanish with French) at the University of Manchester.

I have approximately 10 years of professional teaching experience and have completed training in Safeguarding and Child Protection (Level 2), Prevent Awareness and First Aid.

I also hold an IELTS Academic qualification with an overall score of 8.0 and a DELE C1 certificate in Spanish.

My educational background and childcare experience have given me a strong understanding of children’s learning, development, wellbeing and safety.

My Availability

I’m currently available for evening and weekend babysitting, as I am completing my teacher training during weekdays.

I’m happy to help with occasional babysitting, regular evening childcare, date nights and weekend arrangements. I may also have additional availability during university holidays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

My babysitting rate starts from £13 per hour. Fees may vary depending on the number of children, their ages, the hours required and any additional responsibilities.

I’m available for occasional babysitting, evenings, weekends and date nights. I’m also happy to discuss rates for regular bookings or longer sessions.
