My Experience

My passion for childcare started at a young age, as I’m the eldest of six siblings, with a 16-year age gap between myself and the youngest. Growing up, I was actively involved in helping care for my younger siblings and cousins, from infancy through to the ages where they no longer needed supervision. Being so involved in their upbringing is what first sparked my passion for childcare and inspired me to pursue it professionally

I have previous professional experience working with children in nursery and preschool settings, including completing a childcare apprenticeship and working as a Nursery Assistant

During this time, I gained hands-on experience supporting children of different ages with their daily routines, personal care, learning and development

My responsibilities included planning and leading age-appropriate activities, encouraging learning through play, supporting positive behaviour and helping children develop their confidence and independence

I also have experience working with Montessori-inspired approaches, encouraging children to explore, learn at their own pace and develop practical life skills

Alongside my childcare experience, I spent several years caring for elderly family members, which further strengthened my patience, compassion, reliability and ability to adapt to individual needs

Safeguarding, children’s wellbeing and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment have always been important parts of my work

I’m confident supporting children’s routines while making sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy in my care

My Qualifications

I hold a Pearson Edexcel Level 2 Certificate in Children and Young People’s Workforce (NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Childcare and Early Years), awarded in 2018, which I completed through a childcare apprenticeship

My qualification covered key areas including child development, safeguarding and child protection, health and safety, supporting positive behaviour, communication, equality and diversity, and promoting children’s wellbeing and development

I also hold a Full Paediatric First Aid certificate, completed with Tigerlily Training in September 2026, valid until September 2029

This training covers infant and child CPR, choking, anaphylaxis, seizures, emergency response, injuries and other childhood medical emergencies

Alongside my formal qualifications, I have practical experience using Montessori-inspired approaches to support children’s independence, confidence and learning through play

My qualifications and training have given me a strong foundation in providing safe, attentive and developmentally appropriate childcare

My Availability

My Availability

I’m available for regular and occasional babysitting, with flexible availability throughout the week to suit different childcare needs

I’m available Monday to Thursday during the daytime and evenings, with daytime availability on Fridays. I also offer evening and overnight babysitting on Sundays, while Saturdays are currently unavailable

I’m happy to consider last-minute bookings and short-notice childcare where possible

I understand that unexpected situations and family emergencies can arise, so I’ll always do my best to accommodate these circumstances, subject to my availability

I’m based in West London and happy to travel across West, North West, North and Central London

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My babysitting rates start from £15 per hour for one child, with an additional £2 per hour for each extra child

I hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare, have previous Montessori preschool experience and am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid

My rates reflect my qualifications, experience and the level of care I provide
