My Experience

As a mum of two grown-up children, a son and a daughter, I have first-hand experience of raising children and understanding their individual needs. My son is autistic, which has given me personal experience of the importance of patience, understanding and adapting to a child's needs. I remember clearly how difficult it can be for parents to find a reliable babysitter, and I would treat every child in my care with kindness, respect and attention.

My Qualifications

I have a strong background in autism, both personally and professionally. My son is autistic, and I worked for 15 years as IT Manager for a large autism charity near London. I am also an author, and one of my books is titled 'Online Safety for Children & Teens on the Autism Spectrum'. This has given me a particular understanding of the importance of patience, individual needs, safety and creating a reassuring environment for children. Alongside my experience as a mum of two grown-up children, I bring maturity, responsibility and a caring approach to babysitting.

My Availability

I am particularly available for evening and weekend babysitting, including date nights, dinners out and occasional weekend commitments. As I work from home (author and freelance Digital Strategist & Business Systems Consultant based in Aberdeen), I have flexibility to arrange babysitting in advance. My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My rate is £15 per hour. I am happy to travel to your home by public transport, but for evening babysitting I would ask that my taxi fare home is also covered. This can be agreed in advance so that everything is clear before the booking.
