My Summary

My Experience

I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and have looked after them in both school and home settings. I currently as a Teaching Assistant in a Send school where I supported children with their learning, helped with classroom activities, listened to them, encouraged positive behavior, supervised playtime, and worked closely with the teacher to make sure every child felt included and supported. I also worked at a Kumon Centre, helping children with their Maths and English work. I guided them through their worksheets, marked their work, encouraged them when they found things difficult, and celebrated their progress. It was really rewarding to see their confidence grow as they improved. Outside of work, I also help care for my young nieces during school holidays and whenever their parents need extra support. We spend time reading stories, playing games, doing fun learning activities, going outdoors, and I prepare simple meals and snacks for them. I also help with their daily routines and bedtime when needed. Working with children has taught me to be patient, caring, and understanding. I love creating a fun, safe, and happy environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to learn and be themselves.
