Genie
Babysitter in Hove
My Summary
About Me
I'm a friendly, outgoing 26 year old who has recently left a corporate job to focus more on the things that make me happy. This includes looking after children and helping my community. I live in Hove with my two cats Mango and Pixel - but I absolutely love dogs too! I'm available to help provide a supportive environment for your children to play and learn and be silly with me. Happy to take on lots of challenges, whether it be homework, sports or just getting kids to bed on time!
My Experience
I have been babysitting on and off for over 10 years and have really connected with all of the kids I've looked after. I have recently moved back from New Zealand, where I worked closely with the Special Olympics, an organisation dedicated to providing quality sport coaching to children with complex behavioural and physical disabilities. I also underwent training with IHC, a charity which pairs people up with vulnerable young people to provide support and companionship.
I have an undergraduate degree in Language, Culture and Communication from Warwick University, and still draw on the things I learnt to help make connections with the young people I help. My partner is a teacher at a local SEMH school, and we are both really dedicated to providing quality care for children.
