Hi, I’m Wasifa, a calm, caring and reliable nanny. I can help with school runs, homework, preparing meals and snacks, bathing, toileting and nappy changes, bedtime routines, and light domestic duties like tidying up after the children. I love making the day fun with story time, arts and crafts, songs, cooking, outdoor play and trips to the park, and I enjoy helping children learn through play. I’m also happy to share a little of my Pakistani culture if your family would like that.
My Experience
I grew up in Pakistan as the eldest of six and looked after my five younger siblings and the children in our neighbourhood from a young age. I later taught in early years, worked in a nursery and then spent two years as a private nanny. My recent role as private nanny for a family with four children.
My Qualifications
I am currently studing MSc in Drug Delivery from Aston University Birmingham and hold a bachelors degree in Chemsitry. Alongside my studies, I have gained several years of practical experience in early years teaching, nursery work and private nannying. My science background means I am careful, organised and patient, and I can help children with maths and science homework and make learning hands-on with simple, fun experiments.
