About Me
I grew up in a family of seven, so being around children has always felt natural to me. I love kids and animals, and I bring a warm, positive energy to everything I do.
I'm a Doctor (a PhD) and have worked as a teaching assistant and tutor at several universities. Alongside babysitting, I tutor Maths, Computer Science, Physics and Biology, mainly for AQA, from GCSE through to A-level. I enjoy making tricky topics click and helping students build real confidence, not just memorise answers.
I speak five languages, with English, French and Polish my strongest. I’m happy to support children learning or keeping up a second language, or simply to chat with them in it.
I believe kindness and independent thinking are at the heart of raising well-rounded young people. Whether I’m looking after your children for an evening or helping them prepare for exams, I aim to be someone they trust, enjoy spending time with, and learn from.
My Experience
I worked multiple times as a nanny/au pair. I have a large family, so I have extensive experience taking care of children (from newborns up to teenagers). I worked nanny jobs across multiple countries, including France, the UK, and Poland. One of my favourite babies to take care of was a 1.5-year-old boy who later on turned out to have SEND and is severly autistic. I was able to nicely optimise his routine so it was a peaceful experience.
My Qualifications
Babysat 7+ kids (regularly). Worked for 4 families. Got a PhD in AI and extensive teaching experience. BSc Hons in a STEM subject. Good attitude and patient. Happy to tutor kids whilst babysitting.
My Availability
I currently work as a freelancer, so I have plenty of availability/flexibility, provided that I do not have any meetings with potential customers (working in AI)
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
£20 for regular hours. Flat rate for overnight stay (dependent on the size of the family and the requirements). No additional charge for tutoring (but in this case, the shift needs to be at least 3h long).
