About Me
Hi! I’m a friendly, reliable and responsible university student who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and helping them learn, grow and have fun.
I’m caring, enthusiastic and happy to help with everything from playing games and creative activities to reading stories, preparing simple meals and establishing bedtime routines. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident leaving their children in someone else’s care, and I would always aim to create a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for every child.
I would love to support local families and provide reliable, caring childcare that parents can feel confident in.
My Experience
I’ve been around children my whole life. I grew up with a brother seven years younger than me, so I was babysitting from a young age and learned early on how to keep little ones safe, entertained and to a routine. Since then, I’ve regularly looked after toddlers and young children for family and friends, so I’m confident with everything from playtime and mealtimes to settling them down for bed.
I also train young people aged 11 to 17 as an instructor with the Army Cadets. This has given me lots of experience supervising groups, setting clear boundaries in a positive way, building confidence, and staying calm and in control in busy or unexpected situations. It also means I’m used to working within safeguarding procedures and taking responsibility for other people’s children.
My Qualifications
- Full Enhanced DBS check
- Safeguarding
- Experience tutoring KS1 & 2 and GCSE level learning.
My Availability
I’m available on all Weekday evenings besides Tuesday.
I’m available all Weekend.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
