My Summary

My Experience

My dad owns a soft play and a laser gun business so along with other jobs I have always worked for him. At the soft play I run children’s party’s and sometimes dress up as characters, play party games with them and make sure that the child and other children there and the family’s have the best time. At the laser gun place where I started working when I was 12 I have ran group sessions for kids aged 6-10 and sessions for older kids and teenagers. I have also just worked generally in day sessions seeing hundreds of people a day explaining how the game works and keeping them all happy and safe. I have also completed 30 hours of voluntary work experience at a nursery for babies- 4 year olds where I took care of, played with, taught and entertained these children and it was a major learning experience for me. For two Christmas’s I also worked as an elf at a garden centre making children excited and ready for Christmas. Working all these jobs I have learned to be patient and understanding and learnt to adapt to any child’s need as every kid is different in their own way. And no matter how well behaved they are or scared or excited I have made sure every single one of them have the best experience possible and keep them safe. Working with so many children i have also come across kids with different additional needs and picked up the ability to recognise it and speak to the parents to learn how to accommodate to that accordingly.

My Qualifications

I have 9 GCSEs at grade 5 and above including a 7 in maths and a 7 in English language. I have also just finished my a levels and had a distinction star in travel and tourism and a C in criminology and I am going to university in September for forensic psychology.

My Availability

As of right now I am not fully employed as I’ve just left my apprenticeship I was doing in a law firm due to not enjoying it. And I am waiting to go to uni next year in September. So I am fully available however I am looking for a job so this could change.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

I am only 18 so minimum wage is okay for me however I am hoping to maybe be paid a tiny bit more then minimum wage due to having a car and being willing to drive to and from school pickup and drop off and any clubs they may attended and just doing general activities on the weekend.
