My Summary

My Experience

I have extensive experience with children aged 5-18, and would also be happy to work with younger children. I worked as a teaching assistant in a top London prep school, working with KS2 students (7-11yrs old) in lessons, pastorally, in break supervisions and clubs, including first aid and SEN support. Additionally, I sit on the committee of Campus Children's Holidays, a charity where we take children (6yrs+) from Merseyside on respite holidays. Here I am responsible for small groups of children, occasionally 1:1 depending on SEN needs, in a residential setting. I have also worked as a domestic, responsible for all the cooking and cleaning for the holiday camp, and so am very comfortable with those sort of household jobs. I also have lots of experience working in outreach summer schools with secondary-aged children in both day and residential settings. I am a first-class Cambridge graduate in psychology, and am currently studying for a masters in Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice at the Anna Freud Centre, a leading children's mental health charity. As such, I have a passion for child development and wellbeing, with extensive theoretical and practical experience in these areas.

My Availability

I am a master's student, with teaching on Tuesday-Thursday (finishing between 4:30 and 5:30pm on those days). I am available on Mondays and Fridays at all times, as well as evenings throughout the week for babysitting. I will also have increased availability in school holidays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
