My Experience
I have experience working in both a nursery setting and as a nanny, caring for children from as young as three months through to 11 years old. In my nursery role at Fennies, I worked with babies and toddlers, supporting their daily routines, feeding, sleep times, play and development, while ensuring they felt safe, settled and cared for. I also worked as a nanny for a family with two girls aged 8 and 10 for approximately a year. My responsibilities included school pick-ups, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, taking the children to activities, arranging outings to parks and spending quality time engaging them in fun activities. This experience helped me build strong relationships with the children and their family, while developing my confidence in providing attentive, reliable and individualised care. I also have paediatric first aid and safeguarding training, alongside DBS checks through my childcare experience. I am confident adapting to different ages, personalities and family routines, and I always aim to create a happy, safe and supportive environment for every child I care for.
