About Me
I am a caring, responsible and trustworthy person with a medical background and a genuine love of children. I am an early-retired medical doctor and, although I am no longer working in full-time medical practice, I would love to continue doing something meaningful by supporting families with childcare.
Being a mother myself, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, loved, supported and encouraged. Raising my own daughter has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I have also helped my sister with raising her two boys, giving me additional experience of caring for children and understanding their individual needs.
I enjoy spending time with children, playing games, reading stories, helping with everyday routines, preparing meals and encouraging their development.
I particularly enjoy outdoor activities, taking children to the park, going for walks, playing outside and helping them explore the world around them.
My medical background has given me a strong sense of responsibility, patience, attention to detail and an understanding of health, hygiene and safety.
I would describe myself as kind, patient, reliable and approachable. My aim is to provide a safe, happy and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and parents can have peace of mind.
My Experience
My greatest childcare experience comes from raising my own daughter and helping my sister raise her two boys from infancy. I have hands-on experience caring for babies and young children, including feeding, preparing meals, bathing, dressing, nappy changing, toilet routines and bedtime routines.
I enjoy reading bedtime stories, playing games, encouraging learning and supporting children's development. I also love outdoor activities, including trips to the park, walks, playing outside and exploring nature.
I understand the importance of routines, safety, patience and positive role modelling. I take childcare responsibilities very seriously and always aim to make children feel safe, happy, loved and valued.
My Qualifications
Medical Doctor (MD), Silesian University School of Medicine, Katowice, Poland.
Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma, Medical College, Gliwice, Poland.
My medical education and professional experience have given me a strong understanding of health, hygiene, safety, wellbeing and personal care. I have extensive practical experience raising my own daughter and helping care for my sister's children from infancy.
Although I do not hold a formal childcare qualification, I bring valuable life experience, maturity and a strong sense of responsibility to childcare.
My Availability
I have flexible availability and would ideally prefer daytime nanny or childcare arrangements. I am happy to work weekdays and weekends, depending on the family's needs. I can also occasionally help with overnight childcare by prior arrangement. Daytime hours would be my preference, but I am happy to discuss different arrangements and find something that works well for both sides.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.71 per hour
- Nannying from £12.71 per hour (gross)
My fees are negotiable and will depend on the number of children, hours required and the responsibilities involved. I am happy to discuss a fair hourly rate directly with families and agree on arrangements that suit both parties.
