About Me
My name is Emma, i registered with Ofsted as a childminder in April 2013.**~ Had my Ofsted inspection in January 2017 and was rated GOOD!~** Contact me if you would like to view my Ofsted report. Before becoming a childminder i worked in a local day nursery where i worked my way up to room leader of the 3-4 year old room. I have alot of experience with working with under 5's and also personal experience of caring from birth onwards.
I live in a 3 bed house with my daughter and son. i know alot about the EYFS and also have alot of knowledge about special educational needs as previously was the SENco ( special educational needs co-ordinator) of my old setting.
we enjoy regular trips out to parks, farms and toddler groups, baking and messy play. i ensure all the needs of the children are individually met. we do enjoy lots of walks in woods and along the rivers.
My Experience
ive been working with children for 17 years, ages 3months-5years. i also have my own 2 children and have plenty of experiences from family relatives babies/children.
My Qualifications
City&Guilds level 3 certificate in childrens care, learning and development.
City&Guilds level 3 NVQ in childrens care, learning and development.
OCR level 3 national extended diploma in health, social care and early years.
OCR level 2 certificate in health and social care.
level 2 nvq in team leading
12 hour first aid training
Been on other training courses. Parents are welcome to view these.

I was very lucky to get a place with Emma, who had been my eldests key person at nursey, and he loved her. Emma now looks after him after school and during holidays and minds my 23 month old full time.
Both boys enjoy their time at TinyWebbs and look forward to going. There is a good mix of children and ages and Emma and her partner strive to create a safe and fun environment within their home.
The set up at the premises is great - a big playroom, lots of toys and books, lots of themed activities and celebrations for all the children to get involved with.The boys love the nature walks they go on and currently learning about life cycles of frogs and they are always coming home with their latest arts and crafts creation!
On a personal note, TinyWebbs has been excellent in accomodating the flexible shift/working hours of me and my partner, and has helped us massively in a couple of emergency situations.
I would highly recommend TinyWebbs to anyone looking for childcare in the Reading/Tilehurst areas.
