About Me
Hello my name is Melanie, I am an OFSTED registered childminder. I am a mum of 1, we live in a lovely village called Bledington.
I am a member of PACEY and Gloucestershire Quality Improvement Network.
We go to local toddler/ play groups, childminders support group, children centres stay and plays and the library most mornings. We enjoy spending time outdoors every day, we go to play parks, Farm Parks , woodland walks and play a lot outside come rain or shine. We plant and grow things in our safe and secure garden,the vegetables we eat at snack times.
I deliver the new EYFS to all children in my care covering all areas of learning to suit all abilities, age and stage. I am accredited and can take the Nursery Education funding for 3 and 4 year old ,also two year old who have been referred to me. I recognise that all children have individual needs, interests and stage development, I observe, evaluate and plan a challenging and enjoyable experience for each child in all of the areas of learning and development. This is implemented through planned, purposeful play and a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activities
My Experience
My son was born 9 weeks early and weighed under 3lb, so I have alot of experience with small babys and their needs.
I have worked in a private nursery and pre-school, also I have worked in a creche.

Couldn't recommend Mel enough. Our children both warmed to her instantly and have been talking about her since she babysat.
Professional, on time and a great, warm manner with children aged 4 and 6.
Overall
Mel was highly recommended to us in the local area and we were delighted when she had availability to childmind our 9 month old. He settled immediately and is always smiling and happy to see her. Mel is very experienced and keeps us updated on all the key info and sends photos to show us what all the gang are getting up to. I couldn’t recommend Mel any more!
