About Me
I have been a sole charge nanny for over thirty years,and have vast experience of children from newborn to teenagers.I have two children of my own who are now 18 and 14.
I have worked as a higher level teaching assistant for the past 5 years.
I am willing to travel for work within reason including babysitting.
I have my own car which I can insure for business purposes.Fees negotiable.
My Experience
I have worked in Nottingham,Taiwan,London,and am now settled in Kent.
I have sole charge newborn experience and have worked for a family of 4 children-challenging but fantastic!! I have also cared for twins and their baby sister and became godmother to the fourth member of the family!!
My longest position in London with 3 children aged newborn,2 and 5 lasted 8 years and invloved 5 full days plus weekend and overnight care,holiday travel,tutoring,and lots of fun!!!
I have also been involved with after school tutoring and more recently had vast experience in the education sector not only assisting but teaching primary school children from years 1-6 for over 5 years.
My Qualifications
I studied teaching and English at Nottingham Trent University,but having always wanted to work with children,I took on a nannying position for the summer once i had graduated and have stayed in the profession ever since!!
Parents have been more than happy with my wealth and years of experience compared to formal qualifications.
I am currently crb checked with my local school but willing to obtain a new check..I am also in the process of updating my first aid training.
My Availability
I am currently not working and am looking for part time hours plus babysitting or ad hoc/temporary work.
