About Me
Hello, my name is Sandra, and I am an Ofsted-graded Outstanding childminder offering high-quality, nurturing childcare in a warm, home-from-home environment. I am an early riser and welcome children from 7:00am, Monday to Thursday.
Located in North Kingston, just moments from the beautiful Richmond Park, I provide drop-off and collection at Alexandra Primary School and St Paul’s CoE Primary School. I am married and a mum of two children (born 2005 and 2007).
My clean, spacious home offers plenty of child-led fun, including dancing, den building, role play and a wide variety of indoor and outdoor toys. I follow the EYFS curriculum, providing stimulating activities such as arts and crafts, painting, baking, singing, exercise and regular outdoor play.
Each morning I work closely with another childminder. Together we offer a weekly routine that includes “Cooking with Sandra”, “Song & Rhyme Time”, “Forest Fun” in Richmond Park, and “Arty Thursday” or visits to the allotment. I love making the most of the outdoors and take the children to local parks and green spaces whenever possible. During school holidays, we sometimes enjoy day trips to parks and playgrounds further afield.
Working in partnership with another childminder allows the children to socialise with a wider group of friends and enjoy a varied programme of activities in a safe, supportive environment.
As a native German speaker, I can offer to introduce children to the German language naturally through play, songs and conversation.
My home features a bright conservatory playroom and a well-equipped garden. Our active mornings are followed by calm, restful afternoons, and babies can nap comfortably in a bed in an individual room.
I provide home-cooked, nutritious meals, sometimes using fruits and vegetables grown on the allotment, along with healthy snacks and drinks, all included.
As a relaxed, flexible and happy mum, I take great pride in offering a loving, welcoming and secure atmosphere where each child’s individual needs are met.

I have been working as a childminder for over 15 years.
My Qualifications
I have a Paediatric First Aid qualification, a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and CACHE Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. I regularly attend workshops to keep my knowledge up to date.
My Availability
Spaces available for children under 4 years old from September 2026. Preferably someone that needs 4 days per week.
Holiday cover or occasional hours available.
Limited availability in the mornings for school children from February 2026.
My Fees
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
Healthy breakfast with freshly made smoothie is included in the following fees:
£20: 7am - school drop off
£15: 7.30am - school drop off
£10: 8am - school drop off (this is the minimum fee)
£20 after school until 5.30pm (latest pick-up) including snack after school and home-cooked, healthy and nutritious dinner.
Space for under 3-year olds available from January 2026:
£100 daily rate for up to 10 hours (latest pick- up 5.30pm)
Term time only spaces are available (retainer fee during the holidays applies).
I accept all childcare vouchers or payment via HMRC. I also accept universal and funding for working parents for 9 month -4 year-olds (terms and conditions apply).
I am also registered with the Bright Horizon Back-up childcare scheme.
