About Me
I am local qualified nanny, who has spent the last 17 years working as a private nanny in London. My job took me to London when I was 21, from Devon and I have enjoyed life in the city and all it has to offer.
I'm a very calm, creative, holistic person,
I live in twickenham, with my husband and 7 year old son.
Also I can't work in a household with cats as I'm allergic to them.
My Experience
I have worked as a nanny for 20+ years, both in London and America and Europe. I've cared for multiple newborns, my youngest was 8 weeks when her mum went back to work. I've generally cared for a baby and toddlers in my long term jobs.
I've worked both as a live-in and live-out nanny and I have also trained as a birth and post natal doula and maternity nurse and night nanny. I have experience night nannying and proxy parenting.
With my newborn experience and training I'm able to help you plan and implement a day and night time routine for your baby.
I can give practical advice on breast feeding and bottle feeding.
I have weaned each of the babies I have cared for, so I have plenty of tips and receipes for starting your baby on solids.
I can also give advice on general baby care, and which products you do need and which ones you really don't!
As a nanny I can plan fun days out, and creative crafts at home. I have a good knowledge of child development, and which activities can benefit children at certain ages.
I have toilet trained 8 children over the years, very quickly and successfully. I have also dealt with sibling rivalry and introducing a newborn sibling with 3 different familiies.
I'm able to deal with toddler tantrums and challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner, without shouting back.
I cook healthy nutritious meals for the children, and generally like to have a happy, calm household.
