About Me
My name is Michelle Carpenter and I am a registered child minder. My aim is to provide boys and girls with a happy, safe, secure and fun home-based environment which they can develop and learn.
I have every confidence that my quality of care will exceed your expectations. I have over ten years experience as a childcare provider as well as raising my own children . I am extremely passionate about childcare provision. I provide a nurturing home alongside my husband Michael for my own children Hayden and Oliver.
Routine and play will be at the centre of the childs learning and development, and a wide range of child led activities and experiences appropriate to the age and stage of development will be offered.
I provide a range of activities including art and craft, storytelling, singing and musical instruments, role play, construction toys and jigsaws. I also offer a range of adult led activities such as baking and gardening and nature walks. .
I have an outdoor area which includes slides, and a playhouse and children will also be taken to the local park, shops and library on a regular basis in addition to planned trips in school holidays.
My first language is English and I also practice key words in Welsh.
I currently do school pick ups and drop offs at broughton primary school but may be able to accomodate for other local schools .
My Experience
I have over 13 years experience raising my own children and have been a registered childminder since 2012 , Caring for children from the age of 5 months - 12 years old .

My Availability
I have a limited Spaces available , including 30 hour funding from September 2024
I am registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales to care for up to ten children from birth to 12 years of age. I can also offer out of school care for children over the age of 12. My service is open to all children and families and I may be able to care for children with additional needs.
I can drop off and pick up from all the local playgroups and schools such as Broughton cp, Saltney Ferry CP, Wood Memorial, st Mary’s pre school and St Anthony's. (Arrangements can be made with the schools as required re timetable of drop-offs and pickups).
I currently have committments at Broughton primary and belgrave pre school so this would have to work around their pick up times .
My service is available from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and I may also be able to offer services on evenings, weekends and bank holidays upon request .
I am also available to be flexible with earlier starts .
I offer full time and part time spaces and also accept 30 hour funding .

Still thrilled to bits with Michelle and the lovely homely environment she provides. My twins adore her and adore going there, she is accomodating and just lovely !! Very happy with my choice!!

A lovely, homely environment, really pleased with how much my twins enjoy themselves. Lots more fun times to come, very happy with Michelle and the high level of care she offers.

Overall
Michelle has looked after my son on various occasions. He loves going in the morning and often doesn't want to leave! Michelle provides a stimulating environment and lots of varied activities. The home environment is very child orientated with lots of variety of toys. Michelle provides a healthy and varied menu.
I would recommend Michelle to everyone! Looking after children comes very naturally to her!
