I am also offering to nanny if needed. Hello! My name is Emma. I have been described by children (and their adults) as friendly, fun, caring, very calm and kind. I have a love for music (play guitar, sing and piano - also happy to give lessons in these instruments) and creativity and am more than happy to bring this into my role. As I've been a primary school teacher for 4 years I know that I would be great at helping to tutor children as I have lots of 1:1 experience as well as classroom experience :). I am happy to tutor in any subject up to the age of 11 as I am only qualified to teach up to this age.

My Experience
I have been a primary teacher for 4 of years. I now work as a substitute teacher as I quit my full time role to go back to university. I was always commended on having a wonderful atmosphere, a fantastic relationship with the children, and a love of learning in the classroom. I have always put a child's mental well-being as being the most important and feel that the relationship and trust are important in any carer role.
For the last 4 years, I have been mainly teaching Year 4 and 5, but also substituting so have experience from nursery - year 6, so have a good knowledge of the curriculum for these ages. I am very adaptable so have no problem in adapting to the individual child as everyone is different and learns differently. Recently, I have been working with a huge range of ages in primary, including special needs schools.
My Qualifications
Currently working on a Masters degree in songwriting and production.
