About Me

I’m Frances. I’m based in Hixon and have over 20 years’ experience working with children, from babies through to teenagers.

I’m a qualified primary school teacher and have worked across childcare, education and nannying throughout my career. I’ve also run my own childcare business, so I have extensive experience providing professional, reliable childcare for local families.

I love working with children and enjoy making childcare fun, relaxed and enjoyable — whether that’s getting creative with arts and crafts, reading stories, playing games, baking, heading out for adventures or simply following their interests.

I’m also a mum to my own little girl, who is one and very sociable. She sometimes comes along with me when I’m working, so childcare can occasionally include a little friend too!

Qualifications & experience

* Qualified primary school teacher (QTS)
* Over 20 years’ childcare experience
* Level 3 infant sleep
* Paediatric First Aid trained
* Safeguarding trained
* Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties – Level 2
* Food Hygiene qualified
* Enhanced DBS checked
* Experienced with babies, toddlers, school-aged children and teenagers
* Extensive nannying and babysitting experience
* References available

Childcare available

I currently offer limited childcare availability alongside my own family, including:

? Evening and weekend babysitting
? Weekday daytime childcare
? Nannying during school holidays
? Longer childcare bookings and overnight care by arrangement
? Childcare for weddings and special occasions

I’m happy to travel for childcare and have my own car and ERF seats.

Prices start from £18 per hour for evening babysitting and £20 per hour for nannying.
