Hi everyone. I am a mum to 3 children, I have 2 daughter's that are grown up, so they no longer live at home so it's just myself & my son & my husband.
I chose to be a childminder because once my girl's left home,I found my house too quiet with just me & my son.we live in a 3 bedroom semi & have a 110 ft garden that is very secure,we wanted noise again as in children & laughter :)) ,there are lots of toys/equipment etc for children to play with or on :) & I love being with young children ,watching & helping them develop & it’s lovely as they do brighten up my day & make me laugh :) we really do have a good time :)
I've been childminding since 2008 & I love it :) like i said above I've been a mother for 37 yrs.
We go to mother & toddler groups each week & I go to cheeky monkey's,we have picnic's (weather permitting) & go to local parks every day .we have a good selection of musical instruments & toy's for inside & outside play & we have story time.
I don't have the TV on for the children & i do a lot of puzzles & eye to hand co-ordination , I also teach the children about growing vegetables & they have their own raised garden ,so they take the vegetables we grow home ?I believe in inspiring the young to achieve things & giving them love & security & routine is very important so I work with the parents.
I have now got my COVID-19 certificate as I have had both injections. I have taken my D B S & 1st aid & health/hygiene & child protection & food hygiene courses & have started my diploma 3 in childcare & i did a short course on sign language,
my normal working hours are 8 am until 6 pm BUT I am registered for over night care as well,I have NO problem with early starts or late nights, I also provide a pick up & drop off service, at a charge per journey.
Please ring me to discuss...

I was recommended Tracey from a friend of mine whose friend has been very satisfied with a childminding service with Tracey. Before that, Daniel, my 2-year-old boy, went to another childminder, even though it was a long distance away, because she had a good review on childcare.com. However, Daniel failed to settle in for about three months, he went in crying every morning which made me feel so worried while he is staying. The childminder was unfriendly and gave very limited information about what Daniel did all day long, what he has eaten, or whether he took a nap.
So I've been very happy since Daniel has met Tracey. Now Daniel smiles and gets into Tracey’s every morning. When Daniel arrives, the children who spend time together every day run to the front door to greet him which is so nice of them. I think this shows how well my son settled in.
In the morning, Tracey takes all the children to play groups, music groups, libraries or parks near the home, and leads them to have various activities. So the children can have a good play every morning while enjoying the sunshine. At lunch time, she always provides a fresh and delicious homemade meal, and they often have story time before taking a nap. On good weather days they have a picnic in her lovely garden with lots of toys. My son has learned lots of things from Tracey through the past year, for example how to walk up and down the stairs safely, how to share with friends, how to take a nap alone and how to speak words clearly etc.
Tracey updates me with texts or photos once a day regarding what Daniel did in the morning, what he ate for lunch, how much he took a nap and what interesting episodes he had. Sometimes she sends me video clips of him and children running around and feeding birds in her garden, which makes me smile.
I found that Tracey is a very warm-hearted and thoughtful person, and gives loving care to children all the time. I would definitely recommend Tracey to parents who look for childminders. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic situation, Daniel is staying home now. Daniel is missing Tracey and friends so much, and I hope that the lockdown is lifted soon so that he can have a good play with them again.
Tracey has looked after our 6-month old boy for about 2 months. It has been a great pleasure having Tracey as a childminder. Our son seemed to have greatly enjoyed time with Tracey and the other kids she was taking care of. We saw huge progress in our son's sleeping and feeding patterns in just a short time, and we are sure that Tracey's contribution was paramount. Communication was always great, we received daily updates about our son's meals, naps and activities. We highly recommend her!

Its a shame he was only temporary & it’s been a pleasure looking after him 😀.
He settled in so well & was always happy & smiling, I look forward to hearing from you for babysitting.
Now it is almost a year that Tracey looks after my daughter Dalia.
I found Tracey on this website and when I met her the first time, I had instantly a good impression: she welcomed me into a nice, clean and comfortable house, she showed me a beautiful and well-kept garden, safe and full of toys for children and the rooms where the babies sleep.
When I left Dalia with Tracey, she was just 5 months old and I was sad and scared, but Tracey was very understanding.
Everyday she sends us updates about activities, food and really funny photos, so I am able to image what my little girl is doing during the day.
Tracey prepares everyday different type of fresh food, involves the babies in outdoor and indoor activities and takes children to different groups or to the park.
Dalia is our only daughter and so we don’t have big experience with children and often I ask advice to Tracey and she always answer me promptly and with good advice.
I know that Dalia is happy with her because when in the morning we arrive out the Tracey’s house, she is so excited and starts to smile and laugh and goes inside, without crying or complaining.
We know that Tracey loves our daughter, she is really affectionate and ask update when Dalia is sick.
We strongly recommend her: your kid is in loving and secure hands with her.

Thank you for my review.
& I can't wait to look after Dalia's baby sister when she is born.xx
Tracey has childminded my daughter Gemma (now 13 month old) for 5 months. I have been extremely happy with the care Gemma has received. My daughter used to smile to Tracey as soon as she opened the door, that tells me a lot about how much she loved her! Tracey’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organized, with a beautiful garden and lots of toys appropriate for Gemma’s age. Tracey provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor sessions ( garden center, soft play activities, parks, playgroups, library, etc).Tracey prepares fresh food like chicken, turkey, fish and lots of vegetable and had a central role in my daughter's weaning, and she heped me a lot!
Tracey used to keep me updated every day about sleeping and eating time, and the activities they used to do together, and this was very helpful, particularly in the first month in which I was so sorry being back to work and stay away from my daughter. When my daughter had temperature, Tracey did report it to me immediately, and she also called 111 for advice and booked an appointment with the GP the same day. She was really kind and helpful. All in all, I am thoroughly happy with the level of care Gemma received. I felt comfortable leaving my baby to her care, and I absolutely recommend Tracey as a great and reliable childminder.
Our son Gabriel has been with Tracey for a year now. He is extremely happy being looked after by Tracey and is always excited about seeing her in the morning! She is a warm, caring, organised and fun person who clearly loves working with the children she looks after. Gabriel settled very well because of her reassuring approach. She takes the children out every day and they eat healthy and nutritious meals made by Tracey. Gabriel's naps were also helped hugely by Tracey and we are grateful to her for helping him to develop consistent routines. He also loves playing in her huge garden!
