About Me
Hello, my name's Lorna.
I'm a Fun, friendly and reliable person, with 15 years experience in childcare. I'm a mother myself to a now teenage daughter - who has some additional needs. I also have a Siberian Husky, named Wispa , so as you may imagine, day to day life can be quite an adventure and no one day is ever the same.
I enjoy arts & crafts, performing arts, animals, music and meeting new people.
My work roles have mostly consisted of Pre school/ Nursery assistant /Early years practitioner, however, over the last 12 years, I have also been a playworker, progressing to a play and wellbeing coordinator for the local authority, working with children & young people between the ages of 5-14. I have experience of working with children of varying ages and their families.
I now work as a coach assistant for SFCF & Herts sports partnership, assisting with the delivery of holiday activity programmes as part of the Fit, Fed, Read camps for the children of the local community during school holidays.
I enjoy my work roles very much.
I am Ofsted registered, hold an enhanced DBS, I'm first aid certified and hold various other childcare related certifications, which are all available to view upon request. I also have SEN experience with both my own child and those I have worked with.
I'm a Non smoker.

Due to this being a second line of work around my existing role, my hours of availability are as follows:
Weekdays term time between 11am and 6pm.
Weekend and evening sits (if availability permits)
I am unable to cover school holidays at the moment, but could become a possibility in the future. I am a non driver so requests local to SG1 & 2 areas preferred.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
£12 hourly rate (Mon - Fri between 11am-6pm)
£13 evening rate (£15 if after 11pm)
Regular sits and day bookings can be negotiable.
