My Experience

I have 23+ years of experience in childcare, working with children from newborns right through to school age. I began my career in a children’s day nursery, where I spent five years caring for little ones from birth to four years old. After that, I became a full-time nanny for one family, supporting twins from seven months old through to their school years — an experience that really deepened my passion for nurturing children’s development and building strong, lasting relationships. Since then, I have continued to nanny for a variety of families, caring for children of all ages adapting to each family’s individual routines and needs. In addition to this, I have also had experience working with children with special educational needs.

In addition to nannying, I spent three years as a Teaching Assistant at a Primary School, which gave me a broader skill set and valuable insight into early education. Alongside my main role as a nanny, I’ve always taken on regular babysitting jobs, many with long-standing families who trust me for overnight stays and ongoing support. In more recent years, I’ve also helped families with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and general organisation — ensuring their day-to-day lives run that little bit more smoothly.

My Availability

I have outlined my latest availability below. My current working situation means that I can only commit Monday evenings (available for school pick up) & Wed-Fri for full time hours. I am always open to discuss babysitting, overnight stays & weekend work on an ad-hoc basis.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
• Nannying from £19.00 per hour (gross)

Hourly Nanny Rates:
Daytime care (minimum rate): from £19/hour.
This is reflective of my 23+ years experience delivering quality childcare.

Hourly Babysitting Rates:
Daytime care (minimum rate): from £17/hour.
This is reflective of my 23+ years experience delivering quality childcare.

Hourly Overnight Babysitting Rates:
From 6am-midnight = Standard hourly rate applies (£17/hour)
Fixed Sleeping Hrs fee (Midnight - 6am) = £60
*Pricing may vary based on number of children & babies under 18 months.

Transport costs:
I have a full driving license. Happy to travel and would only ask for a standard per mile fee of 0.45p to cover total milage of my journey.
