Hi my name is Wendy, thank you for taking the time to read through my Profile, I grew up in South-Africa, I am the oldest of 2 kids, my mum was a childminder, so I grew up with kids around, that is where my love and passion for working with children comes from, when I finished school decided I wanted to work with children and did a diploma in Educare, which is the the South African version of NNEB, it covers everything from caring for a baby from birth to 6years, and working in a nursery. I decided to go to America as an au-pair and that was where my love for nannying started,
My Experience
I came to London 21 ago and started out as a nanny, mostly with newborns and that is how realised that I wanted to be a maternity nurse, I have worked for many families with babies and older children. 8yrs ago I decided to get my NEST MN diploma, and has been working as a MN since then.
I am offering my services as a Nanny, babysitter.
I am an experienced maternity nurse who enjoys her job, I offer exceptional childcare for newborn babies -I offer help, information and support to ensure these precious early stages are enjoyable and the load is lightened. I support new mothers and help them care for their newborn babies;
I am able to give professional advice on:

Breastfeeding
Bottle feeding
Sleep pattern and routine
Post natal depression
I am CRB checked; first aid trained, fully qualified,hold driving license and offer good rates.
