Hi my name is Wendy, thank you for taking the time to read through my Profile, I grew up in South-Africa, I am the oldest of 2 kids, my mum was a childminder, so I grew up with kids around, that is where my love and passion for working with children comes from, when I finished school decided I wanted to work with children and did a diploma in Educare, which is the the South African version of NNEB, it covers everything from caring for a baby from birth to 6years, and working in a nursery. I decided to go to America as an au-pair and that was where my love for nannying started,
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for 30 years. An arrangement of settings. I have worked as a nanny for 16 years and then as a maternity nurse with babies. night nanny and sleep trainer. I have worked all over the word. Also a trained nursery and ks1 teacher.
We moved to Whitstable 8 years ago and I was still working all over the country and world but now decided to scale down and do some local work. I am available for short term long term, adhoc and holiday care.
My fees are dependent on what role I step into.
