Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m a registered childminder with over 20 years’ experience working with children. I work alongside my friend Vicky, who is also NVQ Level 3 qualified in Childcare.
Together, we offer the lovely home-from-home feel of a childminding setting with the added benefit of two fully qualified childcare providers working together. This allows us to provide plenty of individual attention, plan a wider variety of activities and outings, and give children the opportunity to enjoy being part of a small, nurturing group.
Our setting is based in a family home close to Walton-on-Thames and Hersham train stations. We have a dedicated playroom filled with toys, books and resources, as well as a garden for outdoor play.
We love getting creative with the children.
We enjoy crafts, sensory and messy play, reading, singing and phonics, alongside lots of opportunities for children to learn naturally through play. We follow the EYFS and support each child’s individual development across all seven areas of learning.
We also believe children learn so much from getting out and experiencing the world around them, so regular outings are a big part of our setting.
We both love cooking and provide the children with home-cooked meals.
Our home is non-smoking and we have two cats and two budgies. We are both paediatric first-aid trained and DBS checked.
We use Baby’s Days, a secure childcare system where parents can see their child’s daily diary and photographs, so you can keep up with what they have been doing, learning and enjoying throughout their day.

I as any parent went on maternity leave and had to return to work … I was soo confused as to wether I should go back or stay with my baby I really didn’t want to leave her. I decided to go back after I found Kelly’s childcare I was invited to a settling in session and my 7 month old little girl was very happy with Kelly and Vicky who work together in the setting. I hated leaving her but was able to see pictures and videos of her on the baby days app which made me feel soo comfortable. Emily has just left to attend nursery in a school setting which I really hated having to do but she has become a 4 year old who I needed to move on to a bigger setting . I have never felt more comfortable about anyone looking after my daughter then Kelly and Vicky my daughter loved them and still mentions them a lot. She learnt a lot from the ages of 7 months to 3 years old and I am forever grateful to Kelly’s childcare. Watching her grow and the little sentiments I was provided with of thighs she had made really made me an extremely satisfied parent. As a mother of three I would highly recommend this one as a place that definitely beats the rest and any parent can be comfortable knowing their pride possession is well nurtured for ….
